![]() ![]() Some filters may not work because of the following reasons. I case you don't see it, I have the reply to where to put plug-ins in the reply before this. ![]() You have to restart PSP for the filters to take effect. Now OK the remaining box and all filters you put in the new filter folder and it's sub folders should now work with PSP. and "Include sub folders when searching for filters". Have the first 2 things here checked."Enable filters.". Highlight it and then click OK at the box. So fill in Folder # 2 by clicking on the Browse button.įind the path to where you created your new plugin / filter folder. In PSP, click on "File / Preferences / File Locations".įolder #1 is probably already filled in because it's the default folder. You have to make PSP recognize the folder. So the path to one of my folders and one of the files in it is this."C:\PSP Stuff\PlugIns\Xenofex\Xenofex. You may need to find them for one reason or another later and it will be extremely hard if they all aren't in their own (sub) folder. It's important to keep them all in their own sub folder because otherwise it will be a mess because one plugin usually contains several files. Then I download that plugin to it's own sub folder named after it and unzip and install to that same folder. Before I download a plugin, I create a new folder named after the plugin in the plugin folder. "Factory Filter Gallery A", "Xenofex", etc. For example, the Plug-ins folder has sub folders named for all of the plugins I have. Then in that are sub folders.Plugins, Tubes, Masks, etc. But it can be in your Documents folder or wherever. And it crashes more often, and it will act slow in doing tasks.įor example, I have a folder in my C drive named "PSP Stuff". ![]() That's because PSP will load real slow if too many of these things are installed in it's program files. should be installed somewhere other than in your PSP program files. I wrote awhile ago about where to put tubes, filters, etc. You can have as many filters as you want in a folder, then put the location in one of the 3 spots. I thought you meant you can only have 3 plug-in filters. Oh, you meant the locations are just 3 choices.
